Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery
In the Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery Section of Hospital del Mar, we stand out for our application of the most innovative surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic approaches.
We are pioneers in Europe in performing pancreatic and hepatic surgeries using laparoscopic approaches. In recent years, we have also incorporated robotic surgery. The three leading surgeons in our section are mentors for fellow surgeons interested in starting their training in robotic surgery in Spain. Therefore, our section has become a national reference in robotic surgery.
